Our parent organization supports the school through various fundraising events, and regularly organizes enjoyable and informative gatherings for our children and families. The partnership that exists between our Parent Association and school contributes to a strong sense of community at Gateway.
Get Involved
The Gateway Parent Association offers opportunities for parents to participate in the early education of their children through volunteering. There are a variety of ways you can participate. Examples of volunteer opportunities include reading to your child’s small group, organizing the library, volunteering for special events and being a morning greeter. Volunteering at Gateway is a rewarding way to get to share the Gateway experience with your kids.
Special Events
Throughout the year, our Parent Association organizes special events for Gateway children and families. Family events include Gateway Fun Night and our end-of-the-year celebrations. These events bring our community together in friendship and fun.
Pizza and Chicken Finger Lunch
One of the kids’ favorite Parent Association programs is Pizza Lunch. Twice a week, children who are staying for lunch have the option of having pizza and chicken fingers for lunch. For a nominal fee, the Parent Association provides pizza, chicken fingers, fries, fruit and cookies. Our kids love the special menu, and parents enjoy a day or two off from packing lunch.
